Goodbyes and Time Slots

I know it’s pretty overrated that I’m saying this, but The OC was the very FIRST series which got me hooked from the Season 1 Pilot up to the 4th and last Season Series Finale. Ouch, it’s like a huge boulder just dropped.
I wasn’t crying much in the fourth season but I guess the tears were saving up for the episode finale where I was crying for about 80% out of the whole episode (don’t cheesy me, I’LL CHEESY YOU!). Like what Alistair said “…my dearly beloved O.C. is crucified, buried, and pushed into the unforgiving abyss of television hell.” Ouuuucch. It was bad enough for Friends to end, the TV show I have the most respect for, now it’s The OC. Grey’s Anatomy will still be there, and so is Heroes. I’m taking all these tv shows a few at a time, House MD and One Tree Hill’s season 4 coming up. So many shows to watch, so little time. There’s many more to mention, but it won’t even fit into my life time slot.
Speaking of my life time slot, I’ve been real busy the past week, my life took away my internet time. From finals, to projects, to a new semester beginning, friendship farewells to Australia, and Singapore getaways (which explained where I was on Monday). That’s pretty much where I’ve been. About my previous posts, I didn’t lose them after all. Being the semi-obsessive compulsive person that I am, I RSS-ed my own blog up at Flock and I got to save them into my database. Yipeeee.
In the next few days I’ll be re-incarnating this blog back and return comments too so I’ll leave you to download some featured songs from The OC’s last 2 episodes. If New music excites you almost to the state of ejaculation (as told by Paddy), then knock yourselves out.

i sympathize with you for the OC. I wasn’t the biggest fan, but i watched a few episodes and they were good.

I suck because I only watch Grey’s Anatomy. (: I used to watch The OC, but then got too busy. Did you watch Roswell when it was on, like, a decade ago? (: Haha.

I am sorry that they finished your favourite show. I thought that the OC was still a popular show, but it must have been losing viewers. I wouldn’t know as I haven’t ever seen it, but I was sad when they finished Friends and Sex and the City. Surely there are other shows to axe than our favourites?

I can’t believe The OC is gone either. I didn’t cry too much during the finale, it wasn’t until a few days afterwards that it hit me that it was GONE for good (and then I bawled). It was such a great show and introduced us to so many great bands and artists.
By the way, I like your song list. I already downloaded them as well a few days ago but it’s nice to see others sharing them. Everyone should be hearing Life is a song, it’s pretty much the anthem of the oc now.

My sister wants me to buy a full-set DVD of OC, just so she can watch it in Dubai.
As if I have the money to purchase one. Heck, I can’t even buy my own Heroes DVD.

I’ve never been too keen about the OC, but man … I adored Friends.. DUDE! I cried sooo much on the friends finale! oh my god. hahaha Yes we still have Heroes!!! I LOVE HEROESSSSSSS!
and of course my all time anime BLEACH!

Ah! Is that from the new blockparty album? I’ve been dying to get it. Radiohead does wonders for me. Do what I do, get addicted to new TV shows!
