Boom Boom
Posted on March 23rd, 2007. Filed under: Friends & Family, TV & Movies, Uni.This past week has been pretty busy for me. From drafting my Management business report (in which I got a very good from the lecturer - weee), surviving 3 classes, dance practices, catching up with people and reading Hollywood gossip (who doesn’t?). I have a feeling tomorrow’s going to be a long day, not to mention early, because we have to be at the venue by 8am to do our dance blocking and such. That’s why tonight the whole group’s going to be sleeping at Patrick’s. Let’s pop in some horror movies, 2am walkathons and endless bonding sessions. No space for booze, nobody wants to get a hangover during a dance competition.
About that, I’m not really in the high hopes or winning, or expecting it at the least. We’re just having fun. If we take a place, then that’s good, if we don’t, there’s always that great thought of how much fun we have during our practices. We’re not that kind of uptight group or the super disciplined kinds who just practice our butts out without laughing. Every 30 seconds of the song we laugh, and have those movie type “everybody’s-shouting-at-each-other” moment, then we all just have a big huge laughing fit after that, rolling on the floor once in a while, yelling “shut up let’s practice 1 2 3!” at each other but still it won’t be done because we’re still on the floor laughing. We’re like that, and I’m definitely going to miss the practices once it’s over because 1) I’m having so much fun; 2) I’ll be going back to my lazy slob days again.
I was glad I got home at 11pm last night because of practice so that I did not have to endure American Idol’s elimination. Both my favorites, Chris Richardson and Stephanie were in the bottom 2, with Stephanie going home. I hope they put a stop to all this, because if the bad ones are staying (like Sanjaya whom I like but feel he’s not deserving to be in the Top 10), the better performers are suffering. Stephanie had so much potential I’m really disappointed. If this continues, I really won’t believe in American Idol anymore, and this is the first season I got really attached to the contestants. Oh well. That’s entertainment for you.
Have a fun weekend!!

Hi! I’m so sorry if I took long to reply. Thanks for dropping by my blog.
Anyway, I hope Americans would vote for deserving finalists in AI. I can still recall how La Toya was kicked out of AI over Jasmine. Hay.
Link exchange?

Stephanie does have the potential to go forward, but unfortunately a bad performance did it for her.
She does sound like Beyonce, noh? Hehe. :P

Yeah. Boo for Steph being kicked off the show. They should’ve given her more chance; the kind they’re giving Sanjaya, who’s so expert at disappointing people, each week.
Anyways, good luck and have fun on the competition!

you have to survive 3 classes… i am dying with the 8 classes! haha.
how’s the dance competition?

Sanjaya took everyone’s eardrums to hell with him. Seriously, he should’ve been gone by now. This show deserves an Emmy award, dammit! Nyahahaha! But as long as my bets are still there, Blake and Melinda and Jordin, I’d continue to watch that stinkin’ show. Sue me.

Good luck! I’m just like you guys. During dance class, I laugh my head off every other step while everyone else is so serious. @_@ Maybe because I’m not really that good, haha! But it’s a ton of fun.

I saw that you wrote about a Management business report. What class was that for? Also, thanks for the comment on my site. This is my first time coming to yours. Hi.

Sounds like school is actually kind towards you, lol. Good job on earning that “very good” from your lecturer.

Have fun on the dance competition. I know what you mean. Some people are just sooo uptight when it comes to things like that that they forget to have fun — causing much stress and tension. So have fun.
