Smushtration

There’s so many things I want to be good at. I want to be good at photography, but I guess I’m more of an appreciator. I tried writing a decent song last night, but I take myself too seriously that I can’t fucking do it. Loosen up, bitch. The last time I completed a song was when I was in 8th grade, and it was pop inspired and sound like shit now that I’m turning 20 and have better taste in music.
It’s really the songwriting which is getting me frustrated as of now. I’ve always wanted to see myself as someone who could make decent melodies, but sadly I think I’m better off as a cheesy lyricist. No frets though, I can always try and try and try until I hit that note and can finally make a song that I can be proud of. I’ve been tinkering with GarageBand these past few days to see what I can actually do with it. After all, music & tech definitely go hand in hand right?
Yeah so this happened while I was frustrated. Incubus concert is almost here and I can’t wait! What am I talking about I haven’t even bought tickets yet. But I will soon!

Dang I know exactly what you mean. When I can’t get the hang of something or whatever, I get soo frustrated. I take a break, cool off and try again. If that doesn’t work, I flip out lol hahah! I gotta hear that video, I don’t have sound on the computer that I’m on. I wanna hear your voice!

I guess you just have to accept the fact that you can’t do everything. But one thing’s for sure: with mad skills such as yours, you will definitely go a long way. ;-p
Oh yeah, Incubus will be here in Manila on March! I hope I can watch, but the possibilities are slim to none. Oh well, you’ll be watching in Indonesia, right? Just take photos, ok? Let me live vicariously through you. Hehe.

Like you, I’d like to delve into photography and be good at it, but I’d need to buy a real camera first… hmmm, but maybe that’s not the real reason. It would eat up my time that I don’t have coz I split my scarce time with so many things I’m doing already. Sigh, so it’s just likely always going to be a wish…
