How Things Went My Way

We probably know by now that David Cook won the American Idol title, and Manchester United won the UEFA Champions League (YEAHBA). I just want to share how happy I am inside right now because things actually went my way and better yet, on my birthday! Wooot.

American Idol

David Cook

From all the past American Idols so far, David Cook was the guy I genuinely liked from the beginning (audition shows) to Hollywood Week, to Top 24 and even Top 12 that made it as the winner, but never admitted it because everyone seemed to hate him. All the while I’d been rooting for him to win and win and he is now finally the winner. Well deserved DC. It’s not that I don’t like Archuleta, it’s just that I like Cook better teehee. Like last years’ AI, I wanted Blake to win but Jordin got the title in the end and the year before that when I wanted Elliot Yamin to win, Katharine and Taylor made it to the Top 2 instead. I’ve been secretly fangirling over DC since the beginning and now’s my chance to let it out. So.. go DC go!

Champions League

and you’re the most magnificent guy evaarrrr!!!

In the middle of the first-half my hubby Cristiano made his goal already! So I stopped watching only to find out that papa Lampard also made a goal! I’ve always been rooting for ManU forever and ever since the beginning, I thought it was over when Beckham left but Rooney and Ronaldo went back to spice up the team with their awesome skills & footwork and of course, kudos to Sir Alex Ferguson for being such a kick-ass manager. I was kind of sad about Ronaldo’s penalty but they emerged as the winner in the end, even with the Premier League! Things don’t get any better than this. And also, less than 3 more weeks til Euro 2008 and hell yeah I’m gonna blog about it just like I did during 2006’s FIFA World Cup.

That’s pretty much how things went my way on my birthday, as cheesy as it may sound. I made plans already! BBQ and a pool party this Saturday with my friends. Happy happy!

Oh. Football. I’ve wanted to watch Football for quite some time now but never really got the chance to since I don’t know what channel it is on my tv! *shocks* I am thinking that this year I might watch Euro 2008 for the hell of it.

Haha. I had a HUGE crush on Cristiano Ronaldo a long time ago. XD I thought he was a hottie. I used to watch most his games. On Youtube. Hahaha. Congratulations to ManU!

    Ps. Happy Belated Birthday! :)
