So.. my name is Justine, but I’ve been more known as Juice in the online world as far as I can remember. I major in procrastinating and bumming around, 2 things I do best but never proud of. Academically, I double-major in Marketing / Management in a Australian-based university in Jakarta (Indonesia) and I’ve spent about 10 years of my life here. I’m still a true blue Filipino at heart (no one can take that away!) and I speak 4 major languages (English, Cebuano, Indonesian, Tagalog). I was raised the Cebuano way and I always consider Jakarta to be home because of the amount of time I’ve spent here, but nothing beats Cebu because it’s where my heart truly is, where the cutest boys are, the best people, great beaches and Red Horse.

I’m pretty much a simple girl, but most definitely not boring. I love a lot of things and I’m pretty much easy to get along with. If you judge me based on our first acquaintance, then your impressions are most probably wrong. I deeply love my family and friends. My dog Sushi comes in third, she’s 4 years old and the most beautiful Pomeranian ever. Oh, I love to travel. So if you’re planning to go somewhere exotic and have some space left in your luggage (or your bank account), count me in! Having only been to several countries around Asia other than the Philippines (Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia), I can’t wait to see the world.

I listen to a lot of music, almost every genre. Nothing beats listening to Incubus any day, my favorite band in the world. Rock (alternative, indie) is my genre of preference at the most but I don’t mind a little mainstream, it adds to the balance. I love to sing and dance and probably anything related to the performing arts, except act—I can’t do acting to save my life.

I’ve been creating pseudo-websites since 2000 but didn’t start blogging til the year 2002 and like any other starters, they were pretty embarrassing posts in pretty embarrassing hosts (hello gURLpages & tripod!). Then I had Blogger in 2004-2006 which were probably the best years of my blogging life. I had the usual others too like LiveJournal (which I still keep now), Xanga (which was total bullshit) and Vox (which barely lasted for a week). I didn’t get this domain until last year and I’m incredibly happy with it. Learning PHP has been a great challenge but so far it’s been good.
