My life is quickly changing.. I don’t exactly know if it’s for the better or for the worse (obviously hoping it’s the former). I’m going to have to adapt to these changes asap or else I’ll ultimately become a sorry motherfucker. I need to accept the things that are laid in front of me and receive them with open arms. Some people have got it worse, so I should keep in mind that the world’s not over yet and it’s not gonna end soon. I don’t know what I’d be if it weren’t for my amazing parents who are constantly talking me out of feeling shitty all the time. Huge props to my mom and dad.
I have officially crossed over to what they call “the real world”. It doesn’t get much clearer than this. I’m just hoping there’s a light at that end of the tunnel, so bright that it’ll blind me to happiness.
Edit: Reading this post again almost gave me a heart attack. This has been the most honest I’ve felt in weeks, in terms of being honest with myself. Holy moly cheese and rice!!! Hahaha, loosen up time.

This is for my “peoples” who just lost their MacBooks for repair. I decided to blog about this while my drama mode is still on infinity level over the MacBook I brought for repair yesterday at that Apple Reseller I bought it from. I think this is the first time in 9 months that I’m actually away from it. I admit, it’s overused and abused but it is LOVED to death. It is absolutely something I’d choose to get stuck in an island with. Unfortunately, due to excessive opening and closing, it cracked. Please refer to these related articles (which are quite LOL by the way, after reading the comments and everything):
Engadget: Revenge of the crackBook
Fake Steve Jobs: Regarding these allegations about “cracking” MacBook cases
Flickr Group: My MacBook Was Cracked By Itself
Unlike in the United States where you can get it fixed after a few hours or so, here in the lovely third-world that’s not exactly the case. That dude even said if they didn’t have the case available here they’d send it to Singapore and it won’t be with me for another week or so. I guess this is a sign? I mean I did intentionally send it while I’m having my semester / summer break because I wouldn’t need it for school anymore. A sign perhaps? More productive things like tennis, tennis and tennis? Something I’ve been putting off for a while now.
The craziest thing is, I found my old laptop lying in the junk somewhere untouched and totally gathering dust. After turning it on and realized it still worked and is fully functional despite its major disabilities like 128MB of RAM and 40GB of space (it has sentimental value–shut up), I can still go online. I’m even blogging from this technology retard right now. I know this won’t last long though, I just need to check my Google Reader, Facebook, Twitter & Plurk, e-mails and that’s it. Everything else is gonna discourage me (no YouTube, IMs and such). That’s why it’s going to be a pretty slow week for me online, time to go enjoy the offline world and breathe some fresh sunny air!
On another note, I’d like to express my sadness over those people who went missing & died during the ferry capsizing incident back home in the Philippines caused by the typhoon.

1. What was I doing 10 years ago?
Wondering why I got my period at such a young age and showing off the free Adidas Kobe Bryant shoes I got for free from my mother in PE class. Also, very first time I traveled alone to the Philippines. Yes, I was 10 when I first got to ride the airplane alone.
2. What are 5 things on my to-do list today?
Obviously for tomorrow (or for the rest of the weekend):
1. Sleep in
2. Sleep in
3. Sleep in
4. Send MacBook for crack repair
5. Eat Pancious with Chino
Sorry about this one. I just finished my finals (+ semester) and I’m obviously drained to the core, I need sleep. And pancakes from Pancious.
3. Snacks I enjoy:
Anything salty and chocolatey <3
4. Places I’ve lived:
Cebu, Philippines (forever my home). Makassar, Indonesia (1990-1991). Jakarta, Indonesia (1997 - present).
5. Things I’d do if I were a billionaire:
Donate an amount to different charities around the Philippines, buy all the yummy gadgets, buy yummy automobiles, build a mansion for my parents, travel the world with my family, set up a business, send about 50++ unfortunate kids to school, put some in the bank for it to grow, and go shopping!!
6. People I want to know more about:
I want to know more about different cultures and how people are around the world! Obvious isn’t it? I just realized I haven’t been tagging a lot with memes so here goes: Jeff, Rens, Kevin, Joyfulchicken, Pat. It’s a pretty “interesting” set of questions, if you’re interesting enough that is.
